NANA BARS
Nana Bars is an artist based in Florida, originally raised in Detroit Michigan. Nana grew up watching her Mom sing in gospel choirs and perform as lead background vocalist with Aretha Franklin as well as many well-known recording artists. Originating from a musical family it was no wonder that Nana would indeed follow her own path of music.
Nana began writing at just five years old, her exposure to music was deep rooted and before long the artist was singing in school choirs throughout her youth. Crossing various genres Nana became the lead singer for the 90’s metal band C2F from Detroit, Michigan. A credit to Nana’s skill and versatility as an artist

Nana also uses her music as a form of personal expression, with her faith being the foundation of who she is and of her music. Leading a number of youth ministries in her time, she was also a Lead Prayer Minister at Detroit World Outreach under Bishop Jack Wallace, in addition to serving in many other ministries alongside Pastors over the years.

Nana is also an experienced session and studio recording artist with many recordings under her belt as well as recording for commercials such as Mazda and performing Off-Broadway with local Detroit playwright Ron Milner. As versatile as they come, Nana’s music is a unique blend of stunning Gospel tones, metal purr in her voice and Hip Hop influences. Lyrically mesmerizing and laced with emotional conviction, this is an artist that is comfortable behind the mic and on stage.
